What is SuperGovorilka?
An offline voice typing app for Windows and macOS: press a hotkey, speak, and the text is inserted at the cursor in any program - Word, Telegram, a browser, email.
Does it need the internet?
No. Speech is recognized on your computer and the app works with the internet switched off. A connection is needed once, to download the recognition model.
Where does my voice go?
Nowhere. The recording and the recognized text stay on your computer: no cloud, no account, no server-side logs.
How much does it cost?
Free for 500 words a day; PRO is 1000 ₽ (Russian rubles) once, forever. PRO only removes the daily limit, everything else is free.
Is it a subscription?
No, PRO is a one-time purchase that lasts forever, with no monthly or yearly payment.
Which platforms and languages?
Windows 10/11 64-bit and macOS 12+ (Apple Silicon and Intel Macs); Russian and English as equal languages.
Do I have to pay for recognition models?
No, every model, including large-v3-turbo, is free for everyone.
Which programs does dictation work in?
Any program you can type in: Word, Google Docs, Telegram, WhatsApp, email, Notion, ChatGPT, text fields on websites. The text goes into the field where your cursor was.
How do I start dictating?
Press the hotkey: Ctrl + Shift + Space on Windows, Right Command on a Mac by default. Speak, then press the key again or Space and the text appears at the cursor. Esc cancels the recording. The hotkey can be changed in Settings.
Do I need to sign up?
No. The app works without an account or a login. An email is asked for only when buying PRO, so you can restore the purchase on another computer.
Does an AI rewrite my text?
No. You get exactly what the model recognized: it adds most punctuation and capital letters itself, but it does not change your words or style.
Windows shows a SmartScreen warning. Is it safe?
Yes. The warning appears for programs that have not yet built up a reputation with Microsoft. Click "More info", then "Run anyway". The app only asks for the microphone and for pasting text.
Which permissions does it need on a Mac?
Microphone, to hear you, and Accessibility, to paste text into other apps. With Right Command as the hotkey, macOS may also ask for Input Monitoring.
